The following message is from your indwelling divine spirit. Imagine your spirit’s voice saying the words as you read the message. Reflect prayerfully on these passages. They contain many promises, advice, and requests. Stop often to sit in quiet receptivity for illumination and expansion of meaning. This is your time with God. Allow your divine inner spirit to lead you.
The Inner Spirit’s Mission
My job is to make your life challenging, even rugged, if that is what it takes to get you to make meaningful decisions. You must be faced with many decisions, important decisions. My job is to help you with choices between serving your self-interests and serving the welfare of others.
As you cooperate with me, I give the twin gifts of strenuous thinking and sublime peace of mind. Your intellectual decisions, moral choices, and spiritual development all improve my ability to function in your mind. As you grow in balanced harmony (body, mind, and spirit), I am able with increasing vividness to register on your consciousness my picturizations of destiny.
I yearn to communicate directly with you. In order to become attuned to me, you must spiritually develop and discipline your mind. I communicate in urges, in images, and in your highest creative imagination.
The Power of Your Decisions
Within your mind you make the moral decisions which enable you to become more and more like me, until we are truly indistinguishable. All of these decisions are made by you, not by me or by any other source.
Every decision you make either impedes or facilitates my work in you to build your character and your personality. The importance of a decision and the difficulty of making it give that decision the power to influence you. The frequency and persistent repetition of decisions form good habits. Therefore, do not be discouraged when you are called upon to make very similar decisions repeatedly.
Spiritual Confidence
One of my greatest desires is to transform your feelings of fear into convictions of love and confidence. In this quest to change your fear to spiritual confidence, I depend upon your cooperation. I challenge you to make those courageous decisions which deliver you from the doubts and resistances of fear. Your courageous decisions enable me to work in you more effectively.
You have my commitment that in any conflict between what really is right or wrong, I will give you aid and support. Pay attention with your heart and with your mind. I will be there assisting you. I call you to make courageous decisions to honor high values and to engage in consecrated cooperation with me.
Transforming the Way You Think
You may safely trust all matters of mind beyond your consciousness to my infinitely dependable care. I will not control or even directly influence your human thought. I seek to spiritualize and eternalize your thinking, to transform the way you think. Even this precious gift I give only as you desire it.
Do not partake of physical poisons which interfere with the natural functions of your mind and thereby retard my efforts to exalt your mind. Do not indulge in the mental poisons of fear, anger, envy, jealousy, suspicion and intolerance. These interfere tremendously with your spiritual progress.
The Great Adventure
I invite you to a great adventure. Attune your mind to mine. Let us think in magnificent unity. Then we will act in perfect harmony. And for that moment we will, indeed, be one, as we are divinely intended to be for eternity.
I promise you an adventure, a life of joy and happiness, of true success and honor, a life of loving service, an ideal life, full of meaning, purpose, and significant achievement.
